Embrace invisible labor →
The biggest productivity mistake I've done all my life was spending way too much time sitting down. I finally realized that, as a writer and programmer, the majority of my work is supposed to happen inside my head. There's not so much idleness as the opening quotes of this article may have led you to believe though. The worst possible way for creative, invisible labor to happen is being idle.

I have digested every word of it and came up with my own simplified checklist with an emphasis for developers who want to be as efficient and self-reliable as possible.
